~~She's such an amazing, appreciative companion and she is going to make someone a very happy person, one day!LULU'S SAYS MEET CAMMIE BEAR - A Truly Gentle Soul! Cammie Bear (aka Bear / Camembert) is a gorgeous, super-sweet 56 lb, 4 year old Black & Tan Coonhound mix who is great with other dogs, cats, chickens & horses! This shy girl was so scared at a high-kill animal control facility in rural North Carolina, we knew we could not leave her behind! A rescue volunteer says "Cammie Bear is such an amazing, appreciative companion and is going to make some lucky person very, very happy!" Cammie Bear has adjusted beautifully to the comforts of indoor living -- she has had no accidents, does not chew, waits calmly to be fed, accepts treats so gently -- she is a perfect house-guest! She is still shy at first with people until she understands that they will be kind to her. Her foster mom says "Cammie Bear loves the company of our dogs! She is a sweet girl who gives her trusted human sweet kisses! Cammie Bear still needs some time with socializing with new people - she is affectionate once she overcomes her shyness. She has adjusted well to plushy, comfy indoor living - and is has been beautiful to watch her come out of her shell! She is so wonderfully behaved! She's learned to walk nicely on leash and rides calmly in the car too! Cammie Bear is a truly a very special, gentle soul!" Cammie Bear is looking for a calm, quiet, loving fur-ever home -- ideally with a patient dog owner and a nice doggie sibling (or two)! If you are looking for a sweet, well-behaved, gentle companion -- then Cammie Bear may just be your new best friend! Cammie Bear is house-trained, spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. Adoption fee is $325. Please note that training is highly recommended for all dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are Cammie Bear's hero!
