My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Willie.  Willie is a 2 yr old black tri-color Australian Shepherd.  Willie was shelter bound and came so close when one of our volunteers intervened.  There are so many nice things to say about Willie.  He is sweet with a mellow temperament. 

Willie is well socialized and is great with other dogs.   He has been evaluated around children and is really with kids.  Willie is a fast learner and he is currently learning the basic obedience, as he came to us with no manners. He is now walking on a leash and knows his sit and wait commands.  He has not been evaluated with cats, so we are not sure how he does with them.
 
Willie loves the water and is such a water baby!  He also loves to run and play with other dogs. Willie is such a ham for attention!  He is happiest just being with you while you stroke his head.  He is probably housebroken but his foster home is working on that and he is coming along nicely.  Most likely Willie was kept outside most of his life before coming to us ,so he is getting the hang of how to behave inside.  Willie will make a great companion dog
