Jake's Story...
Jake may have spent of the last 8 years on a farm, but these days you wouldn't know it. If you are looking for a low maintenance dog who likes to snuggle on the couch and go on leisurely walks, Jake is for you. Now that he has conquered heart worm, he is getting more endurance. He is happy with a trip around the block and a romp in the yard. Jake adjusted very quickly to a house with other border collies, a small dog and a child. He doesn't know traditional commands but is a quick study and would surely pick them up easily if someone worked with him. He is an expert in finding the softest place to take a nap and getting everyone in sight to scratch his ears. Please visit the website at www.prbcr.org or email prbcr@prbcr.org if you are interested in adopting Jake.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a All Cities Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in All Cities, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in All Cities.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in All Cities already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a All Cities breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in All Cities paves the way for another one to be saved.
