Merle decided someone had to be King so he tried on the crown and it fit!! Merle is the Mr. Bossypants of a litter of 5 puppies dumped out on a highway in Arkansas. By the time we got the call and made it out to them, they were so grateful to see a kind person and they have thanked us every day since, with their smiles, their kisses and their super friendly little personalities! Merle might like things his way, but he's really a team player at heart. He loves to run and play with his siblings, and if the kiddie pool is filled, he's first one in -- you'd think he was a purebred Lab the way he took right to it -- but he's always happy to take a break if belly rubs are involved. They're his kryptonite!!

Merle is about 3 months old, he's healthy and he weighs about 12 pounds. We have no idea what his true mix is, but he does have a docked tail interestingly enough!
