We received an sos call - people had taken in a mom who gave birth to two kittens and they were moving the next day; the local shelter would not take and they could not take.  The timing worked out that we could take them.  The mom has tested negative for FIV/FELV, the kittens have received their first vaccine, and are available for adoption.

Tom and Jerry are a comical pair.  They play tag, doing helicopter jumps, they play with toys independently, and they curl up for a nap afterwards.  We would like to adopt them together.

The kittens were born mid-July and were over 2# on Sept 6th.  If you would like to meet them, please contact us at info@tlcrescue.org or call their foster mom, Mary, directly at 914-713-8649 (not txt, plz call), please no calls after 9 p.m., EST.

Thank you for wanting to save a life!

About tlc Rescue Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

tlc Rescue is a recently incorporated not-for-profit organization with pending public charity status under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

tlc Rescue was founded by three women who have actively dedicated much of their lives to ensuring that all animals (particularly cats and dogs) are not living on the streets, homeless and/or being neglected or abused. Our rescue efforts focus on Westchester County, New York, primarily in the southern end of the county.

We often work with other rescue groups and shelters, most of whom have insufficient space for all of their cats to roam freely. Our philosophy is that no cat should be caged, except when needed to address temporary medical issues. We believe that cats need room to play, lounge and interact with each other and humans in an open environment.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees are $185 for kittens [includes any follow up vaccinations and spay/neuter at appropriate age] and $85 for teens/adults [these are adopted already fully vetted with vaccinations and spay/neuter].

We have a questionnaire and interview the potential adopter, there is a contract exchanged once the animal is adopted. We follow up in the near future once an adoption takes place to make sure the cat is doing well with it's new family.
