Facts about Nova

  • Breed: American Bulldog
  • Color: Brindle - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10543692

During her short time on Earth (1 1/2 yrs) NIVA has been through 3 homes through no fault of her own. Nova had a skin condition as a pup and had also contracted ringworm before we found her in a city animal shelter. Her skin is under control now that she is finished in a biotics however her new family must be prepared to give her a high quality dog food, supplements and above average care.  She is a super sweet puppy and eager to please! Nova seems to get along with other dogs – she would probably be best paired with a sturdy male.  Not sure yet about cats but we can test her. Nova seems a little fearful around teenage boys and was possibly teased in a previous home. We are looking for a family that can get her out and about to become a more confident dog. enrolling in the basic obedience class of your choice is also a requirement of our adoption procedure. Nova has been spayed, vaccinated and will be microchipped, heartworm tested prior to adoption. Adoption $300. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org.

About CompAnimals Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

Our Adoption Process...

Please visit www.CompAnimal.org for more information about the adoption process and our fees. Our application is online, and relatively quick and painless to fill out.
We are a small all volunteer organization. Your e-mail wiil typically receive a quicker response than your phone call.
