Otto's Story...
Otto was adopted from us when he was a puppy and he is now back at the shelter due to his owner's not having him neutered. Otto is now back up for adoption! He is about 8 months old and very sweet. Otto does need some training, he continually will jump on you and all over the counters. This sweet boy is looking for a forever home to play with him at all times of the day and snuggle with him in the evening. If you would be interested in this cutie, stop in and ask to see him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otto, a Troy Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Troy, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
