Taffie's Story...
Saved by the Heart has covered all of this sweet girl's medical expenses & she is ready to go! See what her foster mom has to say about her:
"Taffie came to us in lieu of ice cream one day. We went to McDonalds to get an ice cream for our little one, and instead found a 5-week old kitten by the drive-through line. Her approximate DoB is around 05/20/2016. Taffie was covered in truck exhaust fumes, skinny as a rail, and utterly alone. She has since then grown to be a social and energetic girl who likes to be where her people are. She likes people and is good with dogs and cats. She prefers to be allowed to sleep with people and likes to get under blankets. She loves climbing and playing, and being in high-up places like on cat shelves. She also has a very loud purr. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her shots."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taffie, a Greer Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Greer, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Greer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greer paves the way for another one to be saved.
