Hensley's Story...
Come and meet him Saturday, Sept 10th from 11am-3pm in Harvard Square where Broken Tail Rescue will have a booth at the Petco Foundation adoption event!

Hensley is a four-year-old, 11lb male mix breed. He has a Jack Russell personality in a min-pin body. He loves to run and play, especially with toys and balls. He would carry a plush toy around in his mouth all day if you let him. Hensley would be a great agility dog and has the JRT pogo-stick jump down pat.

Hensley is sweet and affectionate with people but he can guard his toys so we would recommend a home without children or with children who are old enough to respect his toys. Hensley mostly doesn't care about other dogs and is indifferent to them though he has been enticed to play by a friendly female JRT in his temp foster home.

Hensley is being fostered in Hudson.

The adoption fee is $350.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hensley, a Worcester Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
