My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ash, a shy sweetheart who is hoping for new beginnings, with a family who will truly love her 'fur'ever.

Ash had been left in the care of a family member who was allergic to her- prior to that, while her former family was in the process of moving, had been left to fend for herself in a home that was long since packed up and emptied. No one had the time to care for Ash....and as it happens, she picked up a horrible case of fleas. Upon her arrival to MHS, our staff was horrified to feel the multitude of itch red bumps running all along her body. Imagine the agony of being attacked every minute of the day by ravenous tiny bugs, and not being able to do anything about it, or have anyone able to help bring relief (and comfort).

Now that Ash is here at MHS, we are helping ease the physical discomfort, and the emotional pain of being cast aside. Being saturated in TLC, Ash is already starting to open up- adoring the gentle attention shown to her by our staff and volunteers.

This tender lovebug deserves a home where she will be treasured and loved for always- not just when it is convenient. For that, she will repay you in endless purrs and happy kneadings of her paws...her quiet way of saying "thank you."
