“Belle” is a female name meaning beautiful...and “Starr,” well you can figure that one out. So, I am a beautiful star named BelleStarr. I like it. And I’m named after a female gunslinger from the 1800s—isn’t that cool—a strong female from the 1800s? Anyway, I have a lot of growing to do to live up to my name.
I'm 6 months old now, and weigh 35 pounds. I'm crate trained and doing excellent with my house breaking! And I LOVE dogs of all sizes. Since I came from a shelter with my sister and brother, I’m not really sure about my breed, but the shelter listed me as a Pitt mix. I think I look more like a Lab, but my breed is just a guess. I am mostly black, but I have a cute white patch on my chest and a little white on my nose. My foster mom says I am a “gorgeous black, strong” girl. I like that! OH, speaking of strong, I am also learning to walk on a leash without pulling.
It does take me just a little while to warm up to new people, but once I do, all I want is to be loved. So, if you are looking for strong, gunslinging female to keep you company (well, leave out the gunslinging part) on those cold fall “starr-ey” evenings...just fill out an adoption application and come meet me. I am waiting on you...BelleStar.
