Irwin's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Irwin was rescued from a high kill shelter after a volunteer who was there to pull another pregnant dog spotted Irwin and decided to rescue him also. What a sweet cute little guy. We don't know his 'mix' at all but he isn't a big dog but he also isn't a small dog. He is a cute little mutt! At animal control it was discovered that Irwin could climb fences. So any potential adopter should keep and eye out for that! We have also discovered thst irwin can be dog selective and wants all the attention. He would do best as the only dog in the home but interacts ok when not living or competing with another dog!

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Irwin, a Sanford Bull Terrier/Manchester Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier/Manchester Terrier for sale in Sanford, or seeking a Bull Terrier/Manchester Terrier dog from a breeder in Sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier/Manchester Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier/Manchester Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
