Facts about LULU

  • Breed: Maine Coon
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: foster N.L
  • Hair: Medium
In the spring of 2015 Lulu was seen in a neighborhood as a stray. Dee started feeding her and looking for someone to get this beautiful cat off the street. Dee contacted Tee who took her to foster under Fortunate Feline.

Lulu's hair was extremely matted so the first task was to get her unmated. This, indeed, was a task but Tee was up to it.

Then Lulu was found to have a micro chip. The original owner was found. He had adopted Lulu from MHS. She seemed not to like it at his place so he just left her outside instead of doing the right thing.

Someone Tee knew wanted to adopt Lulu, but she wanted 2 cats. So, Tee took the cat, Springtime, who was up to adoption, into her home to get her and Lulu adjusted to each other. Long story short: this person did not adopt the cats but Adree did .

This was Adree's first experience with cats so Tee spent time advising her re their care even visiting the home. Three weeks later Adree adopted the cat, Lady. Adree adored her cats.

Eight months later she decided to move to Colorado and take all three cats with her. Tee again advised Adree on how to do this.

When the day came for the move, 9-03-16, Tee got a call that the cats were NOT GOING WITH THEM! What a scramble we had to find a place to keep these cats. Lulu and Springtime are in a small kennel in a foster home.

Lulu is very friendly and as you can see, very beautiful.

Can you be the one to give Lulu a FOREVER home where she will NEVER AGAIN be abandoned? If so, call Kay: 313-891-2591.
