Stripey's Story...
This is Stripey. Also know as Samoa since the foster has Girl Scout granddaughters who nick named her for their favorite cookie. She is UTD on shots, flea treatment, worming and spaying. She is fearless, sweet and loves kids, dogs and other cats.Stripey would make the perfect addition to a family that has a dog at home alone at times, as she almost loves her dogs more than her humans. She grooms them, sleeps with them, and is very calm around them. If you want the true cat that rubs around your ankles and goes every step with you, this is her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stripey, a Middletown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
