Pig's Story...
Pig is a 1.5 year old mixed breed of about 35lbs. She is very loyal and committed to one person and would do very well with someone that is self employed, works from home or is able to bring a pet to work. She won't run away and makes a very good guard dog. She's fine around other dogs but prefers to be left alone.

Pig is crate trained and good in crowds and social environments. She's fine around children although she would be better off in a home that doesn't have children simply because she's just not interested. She's been trained on an e collar and understands core commands like sit, down, etc. She also has a real long tongue which has a tendency to hang out, providing hours of entertainment and comic relief.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pig, a Nashville Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
