TAFT's Story...
For more information or to arrange a meet and greet for TAFT contact: Adoptme@startrescue.org

TAFT is a very handsome 7 year old male Schipperke or Spitz Mix with eyes the color of honey. He is a very sweet, very playful, happy and responsive. He wants a caring family to give him lots of belly rubs and walks. When TAFT isn’t walking or getting those belly rubs, he likes to lounge. He is an extremely intelligent dog whom is very people friendly and mostly prefers people friends rather than doggie friends. He looks like a big dog but he is under 45lbs.

Did I mention how he looks like a movie star with shiny fur?

Will you make TAFT part of your family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TAFT, a Valley Village Schipperke/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schipperke/Labrador Retriever for sale in Valley Village, or seeking a Schipperke/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Valley Village.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley Village already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley Village breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schipperke/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Schipperke/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley Village paves the way for another one to be saved.
