Pixie's Story...
watch my video at: https://youtu.be/g0GbvYuPPJI

Pixie was born in approx. 2011 and is a female terrier mix. Pixie is very sweet, good with kids, good with dogs, and loving. She is a very much an easy keeper. She loves people and attention and would make a great addition to a loving home! She arrived at the shelter with her sister, Trixie, who is also available for adoption, as their owner surrendered both of them with severe mange. The mange was so bad that she had lost all of her fur. Her fur is still growing back and the mange is gone. She is ready to find her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Simi Valley Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
