~Hi! My name is Haben. I'm about 18 months old and I'm a big baby doll. As you can see I'm a handsome black German Shepherd boy with some chocolate Lab mixed in. Now I'm ready to go to my furever home. I am being fostered with 2 females and 1 male fur brother that I love to run and wrestle with in the yard. There are also 2 cats that live in the house with me. Most of the time I ignore them, but when they take off running around the house like crazy I like to run after them to see what all the excitement's about. (Most of the time I can't figure it out, because there is nothing there when they stop.) I love to be with my people and snuggle on the couch or bed (if I'm invited) at the end of the day. I know basic commands (sit, stay, and shake for treats), and come when called while outside. I am also trained on an electric fence, but I like to take walks and do great on a leash. I also ride great in the car, so you can take me places with you. Did I tell you I love to run and wrestle in the yard with my fur brother and sisters? I can get a little rough sometimes, but I correct easily if you call my name and tell me to calm down. I am a little sensitive sometimes if you touch me around my back hips without me realizing what's happening at first. I won't bite you, I just touch your hand to let you know I don't care for it, so a home with older kids would probably be better. I'm a little shy at first, but with a few minutes and proper introduction I'm okay with new people. I love having special treats on my food sometimes too. My foster parents put shredded cheddar cheese or strawberry/banana yogurt on my food in the mornings a couple times a week. I love it!! I'm crate trained and will go in there without a fuss if you lead me to it and tell me to go in, but I am trusted to stay out while everyone is gone. I'm a very good boy and don't mess with things I'm not suppose to. If you think I would make a great addition to your family let your adoption coordinator know. I'll be waiting! I'm being fostered in Lincolnton, NC.
