Note: Ben is a special needs kitty. He is FIV positive (Ask one of our volunteers to learn more about FIV) and he has diabetes insipidis. Diabetes insipidis means Ben has to have access to lots of fresh water at all times and he pees a lot. Usually we get two gallon sized Ziploc bags of dirty litter out if him in one day. If he does not have access to lots and lots of fresh water he can get dehydrated and die. Little Ben has a lot of knocks against him but he is so full of life and a joy to be around. He doesn't know he's sick. Ben has an incredibly long life ahead of him and we just know the perfect family is out there for him. Ben's new family will be expected to keep a close relationship with their vet to monitor his health/progress.
