Go Wylie Pirates!!!  AHMO's family decided after 8-1/2 years that they could no longer care for her and turned her over to Pup Patrol. She is a sweetheart of a pup, but due to her older age we recommend a home with no small children. AHMO (or "MoMo" as her foster Mom calls her) was born approximately February 23, 2007 and currently weighs about 25 lbs (although she could stand to loose a few pounds.) She gets along just fine with other dogs and is good with kitties too. She is house and crate trained, but really doesn't need a crate. She loves ear and belly rubs and is especially fond of treats! The longer hair around her ears gets tangled quite a bit, but she's really good about getting them brushed out. She is a sweet, spunky older girl who is looking for a quiet family to spend the rest of her life with.

Our Adoption Process...

Applications are screened and references checked for both veterinarian and renters. Phone interview is conducted and if a potential match we will arrange a playdate. To move forward with a potential placement we require a home visit and introduce existing pets to the new pet. If successful a 72-hour home trial is mandatory. To give the applicant possession of the pet the applicant must fill out the Adoption Contract and pay the adoption fee. The contract and adoption fee is held for the 72-hour trial period. If placement is desired at the end of the trial period the organization signs and executes the contract. A copy of the contract along with medical records will then be forwarded to the adopter. 1 week, 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month follow-ups are conducted.
