My foster mom just got a lion cut shave for my fur and I love it!! Here is my story: I was homeless living in a car trying to survive the extreme heat and cold conditions. Being scared all the time of loud noises and having very little food to eat and water to drink was a daily occurrence. Our car was very crowded with my Mom & Dad, my (2) kitty siblings and my doggy sister - but it was home! Just when you think that things can't possibly get any worse, our parents split up and the car broke down. Mom couldn't stop crying and didn't know what to do with us. She told us we would have to live on the streets and try to survive together.

Out of no where a caring person (OUR ANGEL) came to our rescue and took me and my (2) kitty siblings into their home to foster and get healthy and find forever loving homes. This may sound like a story book tale - but it is my TRUE LIFE STORY. They say good things come to those who wait and I am waiting anxiously for a loving family to call my very own.

Now, I am sure that you want to hear all about me so let me fill you in. I am really really cute, or so they tell me. I am no longer skinny - in fact I could probably stand to lose a little weight. That won't be a problem because you will probably want to play Da-Bird with me running around the house. I am sweet and sassy with a sparkling personality. I love catnip and playing with my toys while tossing into the air. Of course I can't turn down a good treat or two. I enjoy climbing on my cat tree or window perch while surveying the great outdoors or catching a few rays. At the end of the day I will SNUGGLE up next to you and purr my way right into your heart just to show you how much I Love You and how grateful I am to finally have a safe loving home and family of my own. For any questions or information, contact my foster family Chris 253-344-1586. I am located in Federal Way! You can email for a cat application. I am 6 years old. I would prefer a home as an only cat or a friendly dog but I'm ok with a nice friendly cat if I have my space.

About R.A.I.N. Rescuing Animals In Need

About Our Rescue Group...

Rescuing Animals In Need (Federal Way) and Rain City Rescue (Mill Creek-Snohomish) had been sharing a Facebook and an Adopt A Pet website for years. The two rescue groups have always operated separately, rescued separately and handled their own adoptions and fosters..but it was getting somewhat complicated. Please visit our new web blog at

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have an amazing network of loving dedicated foster homes predominantly in the South Puget Sound area so there is not a physical shelter location. Dogs and cats can be met by appointment only, unless attending an adoption event.

Our Adoption Process...

We require you to fill out our adoption application to help us to get to know you, your living situation and what you are looking for in a pet. It will also help us to make sure the animal that you are interested in it the best fit for you and your life! Once we get the application we can proceed with the potential adoption.
