Bane is a very loving, sweet boy who is so eager to please his people. Although he’s a little shy when he first meets a new person, he does warm up very quickly.

He gets along with all people of all ages and sizes.

He does very well with children, dogs and dog-loving cats, too!

He is a submissive and laid-back dog who has been known to be patience with yelling, screaming children who’d fight to pet him first.

He is not mouthy when playing with people, including children. Nor does he lick anyone.

He is a gentleman, as he allows his people to walk through the doorway first.

He is one of those dogs who is easily happy for everything such as walk, food, bedtime, hanging with his human, etc.

He has not shown any food aggression. Plus, he has been known to share his dinner with his 20 lbs foster canine.

He dislikes aggressive dogs. He’s been known to stop playing and walk away from aggressive dogs.

He is very good at staying off of furnitures and sleeps on his dog bed.

He is tall enough where his head meets the kitchen counter. If you leave delicious and tantalizing foods on the counter, it’d be awfully hard for Bane not to counter-surf. However, he is easily corrected as he wants to please his people.

His former owners forced Bane to be alone, in his crate, for long stretch of time on a daily basis, he has learned to become fearful whenever he’s left alone. Bane is very much a people dog and will do great with a forever home that has someone at home majority of the time.

Understandably, Bane is fearful of the crate. His foster family is working on teaching him that crate has some beneficial use.
