Georgia's Story...
Hi everyone, I'm Georgia!! I am a very silly, playful, and loving girl. I came to the shelter once my owner was given only a short time left of his own life. He thought of me and my needs and wanted to make sure that I would be taken care of. I was an outside dog most of my life, but I do awesome inside too, and I love it! Please consider me when looking to expand your family!

I am very smart and obedient. I know my name. I am crate trained and leashed trained. However, I am also playful and goofy. I get really excited when I get attention and just wiggle my whole body around and just want more, more, and more. I love hugs and I'm just a big ole baby that loves cuddling.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Batesville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Batesville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Batesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Batesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Batesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Batesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
