he is such a sweetheart. He loves loves loves to cuddle. On the couch on the floor on the bed, he will do anything to be touched. He is good with little dogs and puppies, but does not seem to care for bigger dogs male or female. It maybe he just isn't use to them but I think he would be great for a home with no bigger dogs. He is great with kids shows no aggression ... towards them, my kids can mess with his face and run into him and he doesn't flinch. He is is not good with cats. He loves bones, rope bones and tennis balls. He is good with baths. He doesn't show aggression when it comes to food or toys. But when the puppies get too close to his "stuff" that he has he will give a warning growl. But has never bitten them or anything.
r I can stick my hands in his food, push his head away, add food take his food or toys away and he let's me.!

About Second Chance Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small, individual, private rescue group dedicated to giving unwanted dogs and cats a second chance. Most of the animals we rescue are strays and or owner surrenders to high kill city shelters. Many of them have been pulled off “death row”. We are very passionate about what we do, we love and care for these animals unconditionally. Our goal is to place our homeless rescues in permanent loving homes as their former owners have already abandoned them at least once before.

Adoption process includes adoption application, phone interview and home visit. Vet references are checked!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a physical shelter, we place our rescues in foster homes or boarding facilities where they are socialized and nurtured back to health before we place them in their forever home. If you are interested in adopting a friend, kindly look at our available pet on this site.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption/Foster Application must be completed online via the link below.

Home visit is required along with Vet references. Our full list of fees have been listed on the adoption application. Our dogs come fully vetted and have to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
