Joey Jeramiah's Story...
From his foster: Joey is a sweetheart like his brother but not as outgoing. Breakfast/dinner time he is a purr monster and loves to get a hug and cuddle before devouring his dinner. Joey needs to be reassured that all is ok when he sees us, he starts to run away but when you call him he comes right over. He will need to gain the trust when he gets adopted. Joey is great with all of the other cats and plays with all of the young ones. He is ok with the dog but does not show any interest in bugging her, just stares at her. Joey loves springs, he will carry them all over the house and play by himself with them. Joey likes all toys though, strings, balls, wands and stuffed mice. He uses the scratching post and is a great cuddler.

Please note that all kittens aged 6 months or under must either be adopted in pairs, or go to a home with another young cat to play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joey Jeramiah, a THORNHILL Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
