My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**UPDATE: ADOPTION PENDING**

Cola is a Maine Coon-mix, male, 6 months of age.

Cola is stunning with his beautiful, black, cotton-soft coat and his warm, amber-colored eyes. Curious and playful, he enjoys games of peek-a-boo and chase, both interactively with people and other cats. He'll also gladly entertain himself with toys. Present and involved, he likes people and any attention he can garner.

Pretty smart too, he is easily coached with treats and other cat safe foods. He's extremely friendly and loving when he's not being the typical active kitten exploring every nook and cranny. A social kitten, he likes to unwind and cuddle while showing his love and devotion with rubbing, purring, and nuzzling.

We treated Cola at intake for a URI, Coccidia, ear mites, roundworm, tapeworm, and flea infestation. He is now a healthy, happy, and vibrant young kitten looking for his forever home.

Cola is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a low to moderately-active lifestyle. He is a confident and outgoing kitten who gets along well with other compatible cats, and he’s comfortable in the presence of well-mannered dogs.

As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats, a home visit will be required prior to adoption.

Cola currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Resale Store/The Fur Factory. You can meet him Tuesday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 - 3:00 pm, or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.

All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $75.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
