Ester's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ester's Story...
The adorable Ester is looking for a home. She's about 1-2 years old and has already been through a lot. She came into the shelter with her tail so damaged and raw, she needed to have two surgeries to amputate it. When they went to spay her, they found out she was in an early stage of pregnancy but sadly nothing could be done. This sweet girl is laid back and affectionate, and loves to give kisses! She is good with other cats and would just love to be someone's cuddle buddy. Ester deserves a forever home! Could it be with you?

She is up to date on shots, spayed, tested negative for FIV & Felv and is microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ester, a Smithtown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Smithtown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Smithtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
