Hi, my name is Lucy! I am a 3 year old Beagle/Basset Hound mix. I was tossed out on the North Dallas Tollway by my owner after a domestic violence situation ensued with his wife and as a way to get back at her, he decided to hurt her by taking off with me and leaving me out on the tollway. Thankfully, people witnessed this and ACO came to my rescue leaving me safe and uninjured! Despite the situation I was put in, I am a very forgiving and loving girl. I enjoy being right by my human and I like playing with toys and playing fetch. I am good with other dogs and I am looking to hit the jackpot with a family I can trust that will love me unconditionally and care for me properly. I am a gentle girl that enjoys running around outside on sunny days. I am also housetrained. I am current on vaccinations, microchipped, Rabies, Bordatella, spayed and heartworm negative. My adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting or fostering a sweet gal like me, please complete an application on our webpage at
