CAPTAIN's Story...
No one wants me.
My name is Captain and this is my story. I am a two year old shepherd mix. I came from a different shelter because no one around there wanted me. They brought me up here thinking some place new maybe someone would want me. Well I have been here for a while now and it looks like my chances are not any better here. I don't know what is wrong with me. I am neutered, housetrained, good with other dogs and kids. I am really depressed right now, no one to love or anyone that loves me That hurts because I have a great disposition and lots of energy. Please find it in your heart just to come and look at me. Who knows maybe our eyes will meet and it will be love at first sight..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CAPTAIN, a Sioux City German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Sioux City, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sioux City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sioux City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sioux City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sioux City paves the way for another one to be saved.
