Bosco is a registered off track Standardbred gelding. His date of birth is exact at 01/08/1996. Bosco came to rescue with an untreated eye abcess. His veterinarian said he had likely been blind in that eye for years--even a decade. We had the eye removed to eliminate pain from his life, and he has felt wonderful since then. He has no spookiness issues, or other ways where being one-eyed seems to bother him. He is all around wonderful.
âBosco is broke to ride and drive. He has been on a diet of Triple Crown Complete and grass hay and he gained weight quickly and easily in his foster home. He is extremely sweet and loving. He is a big guy, and will be great for a beginner or intermediate horse owner who is not intimidated by the large standie size. Apply to adopt at www.safeharborsanctuary.org
His adoption fee is set at our After The Track minimum of $500. This boy is a true gem, and the amount of love he can bring to your life is priceless.
