This is the story of a young lady that at one time found herself in a remote shelter and almost out of options. Cute as a button and quiet as a mouse, she caught the attention of a rescue person walking through the shelter looking for just the right baby to rescue. When the rescue person asked the shelter worker to open that cage door, this young lady ran to the rescuer, stood up on her hind legs and wrapped her front legs around the rescuer’s leg and held on for dear life. And the rest is history!!
Meet Sarah, the cutest little purebred mix you have ever seen. Everyone that comes into contact with her falls in love with her almost instantly and she has gained quite the reputation for her hugs. When we go to an adoption event where Sarah is known, people come over to get one of her famous hugs. Sarah loves and is good with everyone. Adults, children, men and women, dogs – big and small and even cats. She is playful with those who want to play and relaxed with those who just want to hang out. She currently lives with dogs from 3 lbs to 140 lbs and holds her own with the big ones during play time. She is submissive and polite but best of all, she loves to cuddle. She loves car rides. She can be going 100 miles an hour but if you offer some cuddles and loving, she immediately stops and will sit until you are done. Sarah is approximately 11 months old, weighs 30 pounds, heart worm negative, is up to date on her shots, is micro-chipped and spayed. She is crate trained and potty trained and has basic obedience. Sarah would be excellent as a hiking buddy, a child’s friend, and buddy for your fur baby or just simply a companion for you. Come and meet Sarah… you will fall in love with her. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet.
