Alpine's Story...
Alpine is a gentle people loving fiend! He is well mannered and we were told that he was used to being around kids and puppies. He is about 40 lbs. Alpine came from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and had a few wounds that were cared for by Lightshine Canine-A Dog Rescue. After his rescue and medical care, hew was transported to CMACC for adoption. He is believed to be 1 year old.

Alpine is neutered, vaccinated with Distemper Combo and Rabies vaccine, dewormed and given Frontline. He was microchipped and has been tested for heart worm, (negative), and was given Iverheart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alpine, a Sauk Rapids Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sauk Rapids, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sauk Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sauk Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sauk Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sauk Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
