Dog's Name: jodi
Estimated Breed : boxer/ridgeback mix
Approximate Age: 2 years
Approximate Weight: 55 pounds
Currently Living at: BOARDING
Adoption Fee: $375
Jodi found herself in high kill shelter down South with her litter of puppies. They have all found great homes, and now Jodi is ready to be someone's baby for a change. She loves to go for walks and is very affectionate. She is well mannered and eager to please. Jodi can be dog selective and we have found she does not want to be friends at all with other female dogs. It would be best if she is the only dog in the home. Can your home be Jodi's furever home? Very high energy.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
