Hi, there! My name is IKE. What’s your name? Nice to meet ya!
Hey! Before you get too attached to me, read all the way to the bottom (but you ARE going to LOVE me). You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK?
I am a Lab mix guy about 2 years old and I weigh 45 pounds. I have had all of my shots and been neutered so I can go to meet you in “my” new home! I need a little help to be house-trained. Those funny-looking 2-legged creatures said I am also microchipped – whatever THAT is.
Wanna hear some more good stuff about me? OK, here goes. I am friendly with both men and women, older children and other dogs, large and small. I think I’m a lap dog because I like to sit on your lap and be held like a baby. My foster mom tells everyone about my PET ROCK! That’s right! I have a PET ROCK named Dwayne that I carry with me everywhere I go. Maybe that’s the same as a security blanket. I’m not sure. Anyway, when she tells the story, everyone smiles and pets me and loves on me a lot so, maybe you should have a PET ROCK, too! OR, I could be your best buddy and love on you a lot!
Can you stand hearing even more? I enjoy going on walks, runs, playing in water and swimming. I like toys and playing with other dogs. I rarely bark but I AM scared of loud noises. I am active, curious and playful.
My foster family loves me SO much that they only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

My adoption fee is $650 USD and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U.
