I'm an Australian Cattle Dog mix originally from Georgia who has spent the last few months getting to love the Adirondacks in New York! I lost my old humans and would love to find some new ones! I love playing! Balls, sticks, running, anything!
I'm a little over 7 years old but you'd never know. I have some strong herding instincts, and I am very agile for my size. If my new humans wanted to keep training me to herd things I would love that, but I like laying around the house as
well.

I still get a little nervous in the car, since I never use to go on rides at all, but my foster human has helped me understand it's not so scary. I currently live with three other cattle dogs and three cats. I get pretty excited about meeting new dogs, but I LOVE playing with new friends! I am also a great alert dog and no one will be sneaking up on my watch.

So if you're a fairly active human who wants a lifelong friend send my foster human a message or complete an application: http://www.acdra.org/#!adopt/c6mv

Levi is being fostered in Loon Lake, NY. For questions, please contact neorush@gmail.com.

About Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.

The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our rescues reside in foster homes.

Our Adoption Process...

Puppies under 1 year: $350
Adult dogs 1 - 6 years: $300
Adult dogs 7 - 9 years: $250
Senior dogs 10 + years: $100

There is an adoption contract. If you decide the dog is not a fit for your household and the dog is returned to the rescue within 2 weeks of adoption, the adoption fee will be refunded.
