Jack's Story...
Meet Jack. He and 2 of his siblings were found up in a barn in the scorching heat. Momma cat did everything she could but we stepped into help. Jack is one of the 3 pep boys as I call them. They each have a pep in their step. Jack isn't quite as independent as his brothers but he is a cuddler. He loves attention and any type of rough play he can get. He loves his belly rubs and ear scratches. He's about 4 months old. Litter box trained and fully vetted. He and Donald, another kitten in his foster home, love to chase each other. He is microchipped and ready for a new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
