* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, for an application. * We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. * We do not ship our dogs for any reason. * Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy. * If it is on a weekend of our adoptions, follow us on @DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. We will also post at the end of the evening the names of those dogs who have been adopted:

Canoli is a 6 year old CKC mix who we rescued from the shelter. He is a mild-mannered, go with the flow kind of guy. He's the perfect dog for a first time dog owner or for someone who wants an easy going dog. He is a lover. He is a velcro type of dog without being needy. He isn't demanding but he does like to trail after you from room to room unless you tell him to stay. If you don't mind the company he likes to offer it. He's not a barker. He's well mannered. He's that perfect age where he's out of the puppy antics or needing lots of exercise stage and yet, still lively enough to go on long walks or even mild hikes.

Canoli is the type of dog you can take to the coffee shop or out in public and meet and greet with folks. He's a dog who just likes everyone. He has an easy to maintain coat that won't require regular grooming.  It's been shaved down right now to get rid of the matting, but it will grow back in and be beautiful soon!  He is a gentle and loving dog who gets along with all other dogs, both big and small.  He is currently fostered with other dogs and cats, and gets along well with everyone in the home.

Canoli could be an option for the office or for an apartment or condo setting. Canoli is an option for a home with children over the age of 5.  He is an option for a first time dog owner who has done their research and is prepared to bring home their first pup!

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.

About Doggie Protective Services-Corona

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal organization that has been in existence for the past 10 years. We do adoptions in No. CA, So. CA, AZ and Las Vegas. We began to take dogs from So. CA to other areas as our economy has deteriorated and yet our shelters are imploding with owner surrenders and stray dogs. We had to look outside our area as well as continue to diligently find fabulous homes within So. Ca.

We are a dedicated group of folks who are passionate about animals and committed to reducing the euthanasia rate in our local shelter. We can not save the world and we will not attempt to do so. We will simply take responsibility for those who cross our path. We pledge to make every effort to find as many FABULOUS homes as possible for our animals. We will not agree to place an animal if we do not believe it is the best match. Our dogs are our priority but we also believe that in order to place animals, the humans also have to be respected and we have to build relationships with them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do adoptions by appointment only once we have an approved application and an approved interview.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a 4 page application, an interview regarding home, people in the home, dog and whether the dog is a match, a meet and greet with family and dog and then a legally binding contract.
