Homer's Story...

I’m a sweet, relaxed dog who likes to sit outside and watch the clouds go by, then come back in the house to spend the evening. I love to go for walks and only get excited when I spot a squirrel. I will sit and lie down for my treat and even shake my paw for you if you love me! I’m a trainable dog and it makes me sad that mu current parent no longer have time for me. My soft coat and cute ears give me my adorable appearance, but it is my smile that really defines my character and disposition. I’m a happy boy and love affection. Will you be my new family who will never give me up just because you’re too busy?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Homer, a Marina del Rey Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
