Vergil's Story...

I’m a very smart, alert dog with a sweet disposition. I love to go for walks as well as retrieve a ball. I’m a bit of a stunner — I have a sweet face, cute ears and a blacker muzzle than the rest of my amber blonde coat. They say I look a bit like a husky dog with my curled tail. I’m not just smart and pretty but also a good dog. I will sit, lie down or give you my paw (for a treat). I may also nudge you with my elbow or place my paw on your leg when I want more affection. That’s being good, right? And I love to have my ears rubbed as well as my tummy. When you do it right, I almost sound as if I’m purring, and that’s when I’m in my happy place. Will you make your home my happy place?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vergil, a Marina del Rey Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
