Norman's Story...

Norman was rescued off the street by one of our volunteers. He was found on Normandie Ave. (hence the name Norman) and taken to the pound to be found by his people. Unfortunately they didn't find him or he wasn't lost in the first place. (Please microchip your pet and keep it updated!). He was transferred to another pound unbeknownst to us. so our volunteer had to hunt him down! Luckily we found him and he is now on his way to a new life. He'll cheer up soon when he realizes what a wonderful life he has ahead of him! Contact us at info@farescue.org if you would like to foster or adopt.

If you are interested in meeting Norman, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Norman is 1-2 years old and weighs 16 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norman, a Marina del Rey Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
