Peggy's Story...
Name: Peggy
Breed: Chihuahua
Age: Senior
Gender: Female

Peggy is a senior Chihuahua who was dumped as a stray, and she is anything but--- quite the little diva she is. Loves her pillow and her couch and her treats, thinks every open lap was created for her to sit in, and likes to boss the other dogs around as much as she can. This 9 pound girl is healthy but older, looking for a retirement home. She's house trained and has lots of tail wags to share. Peggy doesn't share her food or treats well with others so does eat in another room, but is otherwise good.

Requirements: No special requirements

You can email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peggy, a Minneapolis Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
