“OLYMPIC” THEMED DOG: 7 years old / 28 lbs. and could lose a little more weight Meet me Saturdays at 1 of our 2 Kennesaw locations from 11-4pm. Check for my location at www.mostlymutts.org after 5pm on Fridays. I came to Mostly Mutts very overweight and with some hind end skin issues and fatty pockets on my tail. Well, I’m getting great care now and am on a diet--finally I’m able to go to the “small dog” side of the dog park! The fatty pockets will likely continue to get smaller as I continue to lose weight. I’m friendly with everyone I’ve met, good with other dogs and curious but respectful of cats. I have good potty manners in my foster home on a schedule and I’ve learned how to use the doggie door too. I’m good on a leash which is wonderful since leisurely walks are helping me lose weight! I have a really cute personality and enjoy playing with toys, running in the yard and rolling around, chasing a ball, belly rubs, sunbathing and I listen well. So far I know ‘sit’, ‘come’ and ‘go for a ride’. Speaking of rides, my all-time favorite thing to do is go for car rides and feel the wind on my face. Really, I love anything with wheels and that includes wagons and shopping carts. I’ve been pretty trustworthy in my foster home, but I’m okay if I need to go in my crate now and then and will sleep in it all night, especially if it’s in a bedroom. Animal control originally thought I was much older, likely because of the condition I was in when rescued, but 2 vets think I’m 7 years old or even a little younger. I just had my teeth cleaned and had a few pulled too, so I’m in good shape there. I’m fun, sweet and happy and a good listener!! Older kids please as I haven’t been around young kids yet and I do bark when there’s roughhousing in the home. I’ve also done a little defensive snap, no bite, two times when I was afraid. Best no apartment/condo type home as I may bark when you leave or if I hear noise that are typical of an apartment. Energy level: 4-6. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed and my adoption fee is $275.00.
