Prickly Pete's Story...
Prickly Pete is quite the outgoing fella. He is the first to greet you when you come home and loves to weave in between your legs until you recognize him. He will talk to you with the cutest little squeak of a meow! He throws himself fully into loving you, by flopping his whole body down and rolling around seeking pets. He doesn’t care if he’s on the floor, or on furniture, down he goes with a thud! to make himself known. It will surely bring a smile to your face to watch him!

Pete gets along well with all of his foster pals and had no trouble adjusting as the “new kid in town”. He has been introduced to a small dog and initially gave some warning hisses, but then promptly ignored the dog after that. With the proper introduction, he would probably be fine to share his digs with a mellow canine.

This loving boy also does great with kids and just appreciates any attention you can give him.

Pete was living outside as a stray in West Virginia before he was found and rescued by 4Paws. But he knows he was made for the life of luxury, as he settled right in to his new home indoors with humans.

Prickly Pete was born in August 2013. He’s been neutered, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, is up to date on all his shots, and has been micro chipped.
