My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Are you looking for a loving lap dog who'll bring sunshine into your life? Well, I'm your girl. My name is RUBY, and I'm an eight-year-old Miniature Pinscher (a "Min Pin") who was brought to the shelter by my owners because they were no longer able to keep me. I know they miss me (who wouldn't?), but sometimes life takes an unexpected turn. It has taken me some time to get comfortable here at the shelter, but now I see that there are lots of nice people in the world and I'm ready to start my new life. I enjoy going on easy walks, and my favorite activity is hopping into a nice person's lap and just hanging out. I might want to give you a kiss or two, also. I'd need to be in an adult home, and I'd be happy to make friends with another nice doggie in the house. I've already been house trained, so I'm ready to move into your home and into your heart. Please come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter so we can get to know each other out in the nice play yard. Also, since I'm a Super Senior, my adoption fee has been reduced.
