Hi, my name is Jersey and I'm a chunky monkey at about 12 pounds of adorable!  I was originally rescued from the shelter with my one pup (Philly) and am all ready now to be adopted into a loving home.  I am good with other dogs, but went through some scary things before I wound up at the shelter, because I am very shy around new people and will bolt or hide if I'm unsure.

I'm in a great foster home and my foster mom reports that I've been blossoming with patience and time!  I am highly motivated by treats, but change is hard for me.  So an ideal home would be one with other friendly dogs and a consistent schedule with a calm family who will give me the time and support I need to settle in and blossom.  I have the cutest waggy tail when I'm happy and enjoy having a den or crate to retreat to when I feel the need to get some alone time.  I can't wait to be adopted by my furever family!  Come meet me at an adoption event or fill out an application if you are interested in meeting me!

Dogs and puppies are currently being shown by appointment only after receiving an online adoption application (these can be filled out at our website directly - please see

About Tiny Loving Canines (TLC)

About Our Rescue Group...

Tiny Loving Canines operates Ventura County's first and only full-time Rescue Center, open to the public 7 days/week in Simi Valley, CA.

We have the vision of a No-Kill generation, and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home the abandoned and neglected animals in our community. Our rescue acts as a needs-based safety net, allowing dogs maximum exposure for adoption at the county shelters, and saving their lives when they run out of time. We will do whatever it takes, within our means, to save a dogs life (unless it is illegal or immoral). TLC is proud to partner with Ventura County Animal Services in the march toward No-Kill in Ventura County!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Rescue Shop is located at 1736 Erringer on the 2nd Floor in Simi Valley, CA. We are open 7 days/week to showcase the dogs in our care. You can come visit our dogs and puppies Monday-Saturday from 12-7pm, and Sunday from 12-5pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Every dog and puppy that is adopted from TLC is spayed/neutered, brought up-to-date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. Adoptions also include a complementary wellness exam at Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital and a coupon book to use at Theresa's.

If you are interested in adopting one of our furbabies, the very first step is to complete an adoption application; this can be done either in person at our Rescue Center or online from the dog's profile. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
