Facts about SULLY

  • Breed: Italian Greyhound/Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Sully is a young, playful and very sweet male Italian Greyhound blend that was rescued from a home that was unable to care for him in the proper manner. He was confided to a crate all the time.Totally wrong for a puppy. Since coming in to his foster home he has truly found out what it's like to live and be a young pup.. He has been incredibly happy with his foster family and his new found life.

Right now Sully is in the process of being potty trained and learning how to live indoors with house manners. Sully sleeps in his crate well but still learning how to settle during the day when he is in need of a nap. Sully loves people and follows his foster family around quite a bit during the day. This little dog would love being in a home that has time to devote to him, and allow him to grow into a great family member. I don't intend to place him in a home where he will be kenneled ever again for 8 or more hours. It's totally unfair to a young puppy.

Sully has the most precious little face and is such a happy little fellow. He is a very petite weighing in around 11 pounds. He is still growing since he is only around 4 months. I do not know what weight he will grow in to but my prediction is he is be a smaller dog when fully grown. Probably 18 to 20lbs at most. Sully has a lot of puppy energy and would be great in a house with other friends, as well as playful dogs. Sully loves to run, play and be along side the other dogs in his foster home so it would be best for him to at least have one other dog in the home. He will also want to walk and exercise daily being so young. Sully would be an awesome companion for any household who is willing to devote time and love to a little dog that is just learning how to live. He is sure to make you smile. = )

HSR Adoption Fee: $250
Vetting: Sully will be completed vetted by the time he is adopted.
3 Rounds of puppy shots, deworming, Bordetella, Rabies, Neutered, started on HW preventatives and MICROCHIPPED TOO!

About Our Rescue Group...

I've worked long and hard the past 6 years I have lived here in Tx... I've supported and helped many animals who do not have a voice of their own. I have seen many situations that animals find themselves in, through no fault of their own... Be it shelters, the streets, or just irresponsible owners, I have stepped up and backed them, since they cannot speak for themselves.
Animals are my PASSION in life... True, I cannot save them all, but I will do everything in my power to save as many as I can from unnecessary euthanization.

I am appalled at how easy it has become for many shelters to kill animals for nothing more than space. Just to fill up to capacity, then, kill another large number to make space for more animals they take is a vicious cycle....I am here to be a best friend to the ones who cannot speak.. Who through no fault of their own, are placed on a shelter euthanasia list and killed...... I will be there for them, every step of the way. I am the voice they do not have, and I promise to try to help save as many as I can, from certain death. I want to make a difference in the life of these animals. We are all they have. Step up and join me in the fight. Foster, volunteer, adopt a shelter animal...I need you to help me, so we can help them!

I'll try my best to help you find that new addition to your family. Their only hope, is being adopted by someone JUST LIKE YOU, someone who will step up to adopt them, and give them a brand new start in life..

Harboed Souls Rescue is a fully licensed non-profit 501c3 organization, with the state and government.

Join me in helping the animals, who cannot help themselves. The ones who do not have a voice, the ones who rely on us to save them. The ones who rely on us to give them life once again...

Together we can help to save these animals who have the right to live!!
