If you’re looking for a spunky, happy, and energetic pup, I’m your girl! My foster mom says she has never seen another dog so happy to see her in the morning. You should see how I wiggle!
I’m still a puppy and I love to play. I get all my toys and my bed and try to keep them away from my big foster dog brother. My favorite toys are my ball, my rope, and anything that squeaks. I love to chew on bones and ice cubes are the best! I sit and wait by the fridge for my foster mom to give me one. Sometimes I pick up the wrong thing to play with, like a shoe, but as soon as my foster mom tells me know I go right back to my toys. There are three cats here. I try to play with them sometimes but mostly I just try to get along.
I love when my foster family gets the leash out for a walk and I can go explore the neighborhood. I have great leash manners for someone so young and I hardly every pull. I am doing pretty well with my potty skills, but sometimes I get so excited I forget. When my foster family remembers to takes me outside once an hour or so, I never have an accident. I’m a smart girl and I’m sure I’ll have this mastered in another week or so. I sleep through the night in my crate without a peep unless I hear you get up, then I can’t wait to say good morning and start my day!
At the end of a long, fun day, my most favorite thing to do is to cuddle in your lap. I’m getting a little bit too big to fit completely so I just like to lay my head in your lap to show you how much love I have.
I think I’m an all-around great gal that is just looking for someone or a family to love me and all my spunk. Come meet me this weekend to see just how great I am!
Sizzy is a Female Australian Cattle Dog Mix that we estimate to be born around June 10, 2016 and currently weighs 22 lbs.
PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.
OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. However, we only adopt young puppies locally, due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.
SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one’s pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian.
