Maylee's Story...
Maylee arrived in her NJ foster home on September 9 weighing in at a whopping 6 pounds 3 ounces. She was found along with her siblings in the bush on the island of St. Martin. Fortunately for the puppies, they were rescued by I Love My Island Dog and brought to the shelter. They were dirty, covered in fleas and very hungry. ILMID took great care of them and Maylee's sister was adopted while still on the island. Maylee is now in NJ and waiting for her own perfect forever home.

We think Maylee will stay on the small side but not knowing who her parents were, it is not guaranteed. We do know for sure though, that she is sweet, affectionate, playful and friendly!

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting adorable Maylee, please email us for an adoption application at islandpups@msn.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maylee, a Middlesex Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Middlesex, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Middlesex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middlesex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middlesex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middlesex paves the way for another one to be saved.
