Rourke's Story...
Rourke is a 2 year old, 76 pound retired racing Greyhound. Look up “handsome greyhound” in the dictionary and you will find Rourke! He is a tall drink of water that has really come out of his shell during his time with us. At first he was a bit shy and unsure of his place, but with a little bit of love and patience, he has become a kennel favorite! Rourke enjoys running with the other pups and then napping the day away on a soft bed with a few toys. Please stop on by to meet this guy! His racing name was Barts O'Rourke.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rourke, a West Palm Beach Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in West Palm Beach, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in West Palm Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Palm Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Palm Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Palm Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
