Sunny's Story...
Sunny was named for her bubbly outgoing personality. She thinks life is a party and is always looking for fellow partiers! Sunny would do best with a canine companion so that she has a playmate. Having her people home during the day would also be a plus. She's friendly around new people, likes petting and belly rubs. She walks well on a leash, is okay around cats, has escaped from a few crates in her desire to be part of the action or find something more fun to do. We think that with daily exercise, some structure and another canine companion, Sunny will settle down and be a manageable companion. Sunny is about 2 yrs old and weighs about 45 lbs. Arriving in Massachusetts January 16.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a Lexington Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lexington, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
